An Arabic marketplace for productive families in Dhariyah, supervised by Madaa Women’s Association. The platform brings family profiles and products together, with separate baskets for each family, guest order requests, and direct communication to confirm availability, delivery, and payment details.

Local productive families need a place to present their products and tell shoppers who makes them. A shared marketplace must make these products easy to discover while preserving each family’s identity. The challenge was to connect product browsing, family profiles, and ordering without treating every seller as a single store or hiding the relationship between shoppers and the family receiving a request. Orders also need to reflect how the market works: the family confirms availability, delivery, and payment directly with the customer. The platform therefore needed separate family baskets and a guest request flow, alongside family onboarding, product and inventory management, and administrative review before profiles and products appear publicly.

The storefront brings products and family profiles into an Arabic interface with search, category browsing, and a clear explanation of the ordering process. Shoppers collect their selections in a basket for each family and submit a request with their WhatsApp number and delivery location. The family then confirms the details directly, keeping the digital request connected to the market’s actual fulfilment process. Family accounts provide a workspace for profiles, products, inventory, and incoming requests, while administrators review family and product submissions. NestJS connects these workflows to PostgreSQL through Drizzle, with Better Auth for account access, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, and Resend for notifications. The frontend and API are deployed on Railway, supporting a connected public, family, and administrative experience.
